Many of you may have seen our ads in earlier years, in the "Barker" and other Dog Magazines, when we called ourselves "Royal Wrinkles Chinese Shar-Pei".

Because the name became burdensome, we shortened it to "Royal Shar-Pei".

We have been actively improving the breed since 1987. We have developed a quality line of dogs that has proven to be healthy, have excellent temperaments, and have been very competitive in the show ring.

We started showing in March of 1990, and earned CSPCA championships on 5 dogs before going over to AKC rule in August 1992.

We started showing enthusiastically in AKC shows and presently have produced well over 2 dozen champions.

We believe very strongly in breeding sound dogs. We prelim all dogs before breeding, and OFA all stock at 2 years of age. We breed 4-5 litters per year, striving for the best. Puppies that we feel are not show potential, we place into loving companion homes where the animals must be spayed or neutered. If you are looking for a quality, healthy pet or companion dog.

Nestled in the trees, our kennel is heated and air conditioned with indoor/outdoor runs. We also have an acre of fenced running and playing area where each dog is given additional exercise daily. We are extremely happy on 10 acres, in the beautiful country of trees and green. Of course there must be lots of rain to keep everything green, but we and the dogs manage just fine.
